Job Description

Personal Assistant required for a reputable manufacturing company based in East London, Eastern Cape

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role, ideally supporting senior management.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in sales administration or related field is a plus.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside regular business hours based on business needs

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Owner’s Schedule: Efficiently organize and maintain the owner’s diary, ensuring all appointments, meetings, and commitments are scheduled appropriately.
  • Travel Coordination: Arrange domestic and international travel for the owner, including flights, accommodations, and transportation. Ensure travel plans align with business needs and preferences.
  • Sales Administrative Support: Assist with sales administration tasks, such as preparing sales reports, maintaining customer databases, and coordinating follow-up activities.
  • Communication Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the owner. Screen and prioritize phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports as needed. Maintain accurate records and files.
  • Event Coordination: Support in organizing events, meetings, and conferences as required by the owner.
  • Personal Assistance: Handle personal errands and tasks as assigned by the owner, ensuring efficiency and confidentiality
