About the Role
TAC Recruitment is seeking a highly analytical Property Asset Manager to join our team in East London. As an integral part of our property management team, you will play a crucial role in interpreting financial and operational data to support informed asset-level decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse asset-level financial and operational performance against budgets and forecasts
- Identify risks, underperformance and value-enhancement opportunities
- Review vacancies, lease expiries and income sustainability
- Assist with forecasts, cash flows, variance analysis and scenario modelling
- Support capex planning, feasibility studies and Exco submissions
- Track capex spend, timelines and post-implementation performance
- Support buy / hold / sell analysis and asset-level strategy development
- Conduct market research on rentals, demand and competitor activity
- Provide commercial support to leasing, tenant and income optimisation initiatives
- Prepare asset reports, dashboards and management presentations
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Property Studies, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Commerce or related field
- 1–3 years’ experience in property, asset management, property analysis or property finance
- Strong Excel, financial modelling and reporting skills
- Exposure to retail, commercial, mixed-use or student property portfolios advantageous
- Eastern Cape market knowledge beneficial
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Property Studies, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Commerce or related field
