Job Summary
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology / related. Masters degree preferred. 5 years experience in IT management / related Relevant certifications: (CompTIA Network, CISSP, ITIL) are beneficial Valid drivers and willing to do occasional travel On call availability for emergency situations The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Lead / manage IT team, including hiring and evaluating staff performance Develop / implement IT policies and procedures Set / manage IT budgets Installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems and network infrastructure Ensure availability and reliability of IT systems Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies Develop / enforce security policies and monitor / respond to security incidents Security audits and risk assessments Resolve hardware & software issues Manage helpdesk Plan / oversee IT projects Identify and implement technology solutions Improve organizational efficiency Ensure IT operations comply with regulatory requirements
Salary:
R40 000.00 per month for the contract duration
