About the Role
The Stock Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing the stock control of equipment across East London and outlying bases, ensuring compliance with government regulations and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular checks on stock levels and perform live checks every Wednesday
- Perform equipment service and calibration, including checks to ensure proper functioning
- Conduct morning control checks to identify outstanding equipment
- Manage oxygen supply and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with government inspections and reporting requirements
- Review and update Tracker reports (Gems EA/bases) to reflect current stock levels for the past 4 weeks
- Conduct regular audits of Ambulance equipment to ensure its proper functioning and maintenance
Requirements
- Strong experience in stock control and inventory management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of government regulations and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Relevant degree or diploma in a related field (e.g. Logistics, Supply Chain Management)
