Storeman required for a renowned Food Distribution and Wholesale company based in East London

Overview:
Seeking a reliable and responsible Storeman with proven experience in warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their duties, meet performance expectations, and work well in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in freezer or cold-storage environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

• Receiving, checking, and storing stock accurately
• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders
• Managing stock rotation and inventory control
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse and freezer areas
• Taking responsibility for assigned tasks and meeting daily targets

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Storeman or in a similar warehouse role
• Freezer or cold-storage experience (advantageous)
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to work in cold environments
