About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Controller/Procurement Coordinator to join our team at Fusion Personnel. As an integral part of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our inventory management systems, supplier relationships, and logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock ordering and replenishment across multiple product lines
- Inventory costing, valuation, and variance analysis
- Liaising with local and international suppliers regarding purchase orders, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Coordinating with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and courier companies for import and local shipments
- Managing inter-branch stock transfers and ensuring accurate stock movement documentation
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock reconciliations
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory
- Supporting month-end inventory reporting and audit requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an inventory control, procurement, or supply chain role
- Working knowledge of SYSPRO ERP system highly preferred
- Strong understanding of import/export documentation and logistics processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
