Job Summary
Candidate requirements:
- Formal Hospitality related qualification
- Min of 5-10 years in a leadership role within a Luxury organization
- The ability to oversee all aspects of the lodge’s opening and operational setup. (Previous experience in openings would be beneficial)
- The ability to create and implement personalized, high-end guest services.
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to build, train, and inspire a high-performing team.
- Strategic thinking with the knowledge to develop and execute strategies to ensure operational excellence.
- Excellent financial acumen in managing budgets, financial planning, and cost efficiencies
- Experience in developing and executing strategies to drive revenue and brand awareness.
- Excellent health and safety knowledge and the ability to ensure adherence to legal, safety, and industry regulations.
- Experience in integrating eco-tourism and conservation practices into operations.
- Fostering strong relationships with local stakeholders and supporting socio-economic initiatives.
- The ability to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and effective management.
- Be an advocate for sustainable luxury travel and conservation efforts.
- Curate unique events and experiences aligned with the lodge’s identity.
- Create a motivated and collaborative workplace culture.
- Drive creativity in guest experiences and operational practices.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and resolve issues effectively.
- Develop pricing and promotional strategies to maximize profitability.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with ownership and leadership teams.
- Ability and willingness to travel as and when need
