About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hub Manager to oversee all aspects of hub operations in PE, Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and achievement of service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full Express, Pickup Point, and Point-to-Point hub operations
- Recruit, train, and manage hub staff; oversee performance and scheduling
- Maintain health and safety compliance, including first aid and fire safety measures
- Ensure all equipment and security systems are functional and sufficient
- Monitor operational reports and take action to meet KPIs and SLAs
- Investigate and resolve complaints and critical incidents promptly
- Oversee driver network operations, including hiring, onboarding, compliance, payments, and behavior management
Requirements
- Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or similar (advantageous)
- Management experience in FMCG, logistics, or warehouse environments
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets
