About the Role
Solutions Group Events is seeking an experienced Project Lead/Senior Events Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic to lead the planning, management, and execution of events with at least 10 years conference and event experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day event logistics from concept to delivery
- Break down complex projects into detailed task lists, timelines, and workflows
- Source, negotiate with, and manage local suppliers and venues
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
- Manage budgets, invoicing, and documentation for all event projects
- Attend client meetings and virtual calls; take clear actions and follow-ups
- Respond to client requests with clarity, professionalism, and urgency
- Support senior team members in preparing pitches, presentations, and reports
Requirements
- 10 years experience in event coordination
- Worked within an event agency, incentive travel company, group travel division of a travel company, or a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO), or within a similar events-focused organisation
- Strong project management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication with excellent interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with multiple simultaneous projects and tight deadlines
- Confidence in managing suppliers and clients professionally
- Resilient under pressure, especially with demanding clients and high standards

- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle (if applicable)
