The Mixologist will be instrumental in crafting a distinctive beverage experience, engaging directly with guests, curating signature cocktails, and setting service standards that reflect the lodges refined yet welcoming ethos. Responsibilities: Formal training or certification in mixology, bartending, or beverage service Previous experience as a Mixologist or high-end bartender in a luxury lodge, hotel, or restaurant Knowledge of premium spirits, cocktail trends, and artisanal ingredients Create, prepare, and present a signature cocktail and beverage menu tailored to the lodges style and guest preferences Manage the bar setup, mise-en-place, and service during mealtimes and events Train and guide service staff in beverage knowledge and bar etiquette Ensure proper storage and handling of spirits, garnishes, glassware, and equipment Confident, polished, and personable communication style Organised, proactive, and adaptable Ability to work in a remote environment as part of a close-knit team Nationality South African citizens Salary To be discussed live in.
