Job Description
A leading delivery team is looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager with strong experience in managing recruitment, onboarding, and retention of a driver network to join their team in Gqeberha. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute Recruitment Manager to oversee the full functional training, performance management, and compliance of the workforce. If you have experience in an FMCG or warehouse environment and possess strong leadership and decision-making skills, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process for the driver network.
- Ensure all driver documentation is uploaded, verified, and remains compliant.
- Monitor and ensure that weekly driver forecasts are met to maintain operational capacity.
- Complete driver payment calculations and ensure they are submitted to finance every Wednesday.
- Oversee the issuance of driver uniforms and manage subsequent payment deductions.
- Monitor driver behavioral issues, conduct feedback sessions, and manage suspensions or terminations.
- Ensure all required driver e-learning and functional training is up to date.
- Manage and oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of the hub network.
- Support functional training, performance management, and salary calculations for hub staff.
- Access and analyze relevant reporting to assess weekly and monthly performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure all recruitment and operational activities align with the required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support the maintenance of required Health and Safety measures within the hub.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or similar (advantageous).
- Management experience in an FMCG or warehouse environment.
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage staff.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Proven computer literacy with good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
