Job Summary

Grade 12 Finance / Payroll qualification preferred At least 5 years experience in Payroll Sage 300 and VIP Premier experience Excellent Excel experience Detailed orientated Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop and distribute payroll work procedures and schedules to the team. Proactively inform relevant Line Managers of any potential payroll issues and create corrective action plans. Manage the preparation and processing of payroll using Sage VIP Premier. Keep employee records accurate and up-to-date. Address and resolve employee salary inquiries. Support payroll reporting and reconciliations. Maintain thorough documentation of payroll control processes. Remain current on company remuneration policies and relevant tax laws. Prepare and process month-end payroll journals and ensure accurate integration with the financial system. Serve as a point of contact for Management and staff regarding payroll matters. Review and verify all payroll information submitted by the team. Guarantee that all payroll system settings comply with legislative updates, including employee tax year-end in February. Reconcile payroll data and provide all necessary information for SARS submissions. Adhere to all Payroll deadlines.
