About the Role
Brentwood Employment Relations Specialists is seeking a Stock Controller to join our team. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for conducting official on-site stock takes, reporting findings, and supporting staff in maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting official on-site stock takes
- Reporting findings to the area manager, stock administrator, and the business
- Supporting and training staff with regards to proper inventory management and stock movement
- Knowing, understanding, and enforcing stock movement policies and procedures within stores (and where necessary suggesting improvement to existing procedures or proposing a new procedure for a loophole uncovered)
- Extensive traveling to sites for on-site stock taking
- Basic troubleshooting on scanners
- Adhoc duties when needed regarding weekly count monitoring, notion updating, queries from stores, adjustments for head office
Requirements
- Matric
- Finance related tertiary qualification would be advantageous
- Computer literate and intermediate Microsoft Excel
- Experience in a retail environment and/or stock room/warehouse environment
- Drivers License and own reliable vehicle
