Job Description

About the Role

Our client, DJ Recruitment Consulting, is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Stock Controller to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels within their fast-paced operation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent administrative skills, and the ability to ensure smooth stock flow from purchasing to dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain optimal stock levels to ensure availability and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Conduct regular physical stock counts, audits, and reconciliations.
Update and manage accurate stock records on the system, including receiving, dispatching, and adjustments.
Analyse sales trends and stock movement to forecast future inventory needs.
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
Ensure stock quality, proper storage, and handling of damaged goods.

Requirements

Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in inventory or stock control (advantageous)
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong communication skills, especially when liaising with suppliers
