Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grain Miller to join our team at Emalahleni, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality products while maintaining strict food safety standards. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing mill operations, supervising staff, and adhering to our stringent quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage mill operations, including grain milling, cleaning, and maintenance
Supervise production staff and ensure optimal equipment efficiency
Perform regular quality checks on raw materials and finished products
Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including downtime and production capacity
Implement effective pest control measures to prevent infestation
Ensure compliance with policies, SOPs, and CIP/OPRPs

Requirements

3+ years of experience in PLC milling systems for maize
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and team management abilities
Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
Familiarity with FSSC 22 000 standards and regulations

Qualifications

Grade 12 certificate (Matric)
Relevant technical or vocational training in grain milling or a related field
