Description:
Hire Resolve`s client is urgently looking for a Siding Supervisor to join their mining team based in Mpumalanga. You will play a key role in managing the logistics and operations at the railway siding.

Responsibilities:

• Manage train scheduling with rail operators to avoid delays
• Coordinate between the mine, transporters, and clients for smooth dispatch
• Oversee the loading of wagons, ensuring correct weight distribution and product quality
• Monitor loading rates to optimize turnaround times
• Enforce health and safety protocols to prevent accidents
• Ensure environmental regulations are followed during loading operations
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, tonnages, and product types
• Handle paperwork such as waybills, loading slips, and compliance documents
• Supervise loading teams, machine operators, and security staff
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Address issues like equipment breakdowns, overloading, or rail delays
• Liaise with maintenance teams if loading equipment malfunctions
• Ensure compliance with industry and company regulations
• Monitor stockpile levels and manage material flow to the siding
• Implement strategies to improve loading efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• A relevant tertiary qualification (Train Operations)
• 3 years` experience in the mining environment
• Experience in stockpile management and train loading.
• Knowledge in train operation safety management systems and operating procedures.
• Valid Driver`s License
