About the Role
We are excited to offer a Site Agent position at our client’s office in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate and integrate key staff, labourers, and sub-contractors
- Review designs, generate project plans, and ensure quality control
- Proactively manage human resources, cost, time, and quality on site
- Communicate effectively with service providers and clients
- Respond to variation orders and manage project updates
Requirements
- BTech/B.Sc degree or Diploma in Building Science, Building Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
- 5-10 years of experience in general building construction and civil works
- SACPCMP Registration with a valid 2023 Certificate
- Proficiency in project management, including estimating, planning, controlling costs, and project programming
Qualifications
- BTech/B.Sc degree or Diploma in Building Science, Building Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
