Qualifications and Requirements:3 years of relevant experienceNo criminal record Valid drivers license Formal qualification N+Fibre Certificate Matric Network and Fibre Knowledge extensivelyReading of diagram and update if necessaryWilling to work outside Gauteng for period of times.Passport will be an advantage.PTP links will be an advantage.Duties and Responsibilities:Installing new cable systems & troubleshooting on current systems.Repairing voice and data cables when necessary.Install, maintain, and repair data, fibre, and telephony systems.Pull, route, and label CAT5 or CAT6 cable.Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly.Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication.Ensure work follows standard processes and policies.Ensure work maintains a high level of service delivery to clients.Participate proactively at a project initiation and planning phases of system changes ensure that the architectural integrity is maintained, and changes are aligned and implemented effectively.Ensure the infrastructure systems and assets are installed and maintained effectively and deliver the required service to businesses.Ensuring work complies with and adheres to agreed processes and standards.Health and safety procedures to adhere to.________________________________________
