Role Overview:As a Senior Accountant/Financial Manager, you will lead the accounting function for various companies within the division, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations. You will liaise closely with management, mentor the accounting team, and enhance accounting processes. Your role will be pivotal in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial decision-making, driving improvements, and ensuring the companys financial health.Key Responsibilities: Lead the accounting team, providing mentorship and training. Prepare annual financial statements and independent reviews. Compile monthly management accounts and report to directors. Implement cost-saving initiatives and provide strategic recommendations. Oversee tax submissions (provisional tax, income tax, VAT, EMP201). Manage budgets, forecasting, and cashflow. Authorize payments and review Pastel processing. Ensure CIPC submissions and tax registrations are up to date. Liaise with management on financial trends and provide recommendations. Improve accounting processes and ensure compliance with regulations.Requirements:* Relevant finance degree* SAICA/SAIPA articles and membership (beneficial)* 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and management accounts* Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel* Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.Apply on this link
