JOB REQUIREMENTS: BCom in Accounting or similar tertiary qualification Completed articles (SAICA/SAIPA) – beneficial Minimum of 3 years’ proven work experience in a similar role Proficient working experience on Sage Intacct, beneficial Proficient working experience with MS Office Extensive knowledge of accounting concepts and principles Ability to analyze and interpret financial data OTHER & PERSON SPECIFICATION: Own reliable car and valid driver’s license Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans) Effective verbal, written and listening communications skills Professional personal appearance and work conduct Extreme accuracy in executing tasks Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Clear criminal record with no convictions KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Full bookkeeping function to trail balance Checking correctness and updating of Creditors purchase orders Full Debtors and Creditors function (invoicing, reconciliations, monthly debtor statements, etc) Capture and reconciliation of bank accounts Manage and reconciliation of petty cash VAT recons Assist with preparation for annual audits Assist with preparation of annual budgets Assist with asset management
