Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations of the hotel

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Conduct bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation

• Monitor cash flow and forecast financial trends

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls

• Collaborate with department heads to monitor and manage budgets

• Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors

• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

• Maintain up-to-date financial records and systems

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 35 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry

• Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Professional integrity and confidentiality

• Reside in or be able to commute to Franschhoek daily
