<p>Pastry Chef / Baker | Luxury Estate | Franschhoek</p><p>Salary: R16,500 R20,000 (Negotiable, DOE)</p><p>Location: Franschhoek | Western Cape</p><p>Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef / Baker ?? for a prestigious luxury estate situated in the heart of Franschhoek. This is an exceptional opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented culinary professional who takes pride in crafting high-quality pastries, breads, and baked goods within a refined hospitality environment.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>Prepare a wide range of pastries, breads, desserts, and baked items to the highest standard ?</p><p>Assist in the design and development of dessert menus and bakery offerings</p><p>Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all baked items</p><p>Manage baking schedules to ensure timely preparation and delivery </p><p>Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry and baking section ?</p><p>Oversee stock control and assist in ordering baking supplies as needed ?</p><p>Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to align with overall culinary goals ??</p><p>Requirements:</p><p>Minimum 3 years experience in a similar pastry or baking role within a luxury environment ?</p><p>Formal culinary or patisserie training preferred</p><p>Strong technical skills in baking and dessert preparation</p><p>Creative flair with a keen eye for detail and presentation ?</p><p>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team</p><p>Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required</p><p>This role offers the chance to contribute to a high-end culinary experience in a renowned estate setting.
