About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially minded Revenue Manager/Reservations Manager to join our team at a luxury wine estate in Franschhoek. As an experienced professional with a strong analytical mindset, you will be responsible for driving revenue optimisation across accommodation and related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximise occupancy, ADR, and overall revenue
- Monitor demand, market trends, and competitor pricing within the Franschhoek and luxury wine estate market
- Prepare revenue forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management
- Analyse booking patterns, pace reports, and yield performance
- Oversee the reservations department and daily booking operations
- Ensure efficient handling of all reservations, enquiries, amendments, and cancellations
- Maintain accurate rate loading and inventory across PMS, channel managers, and OTAs
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in revenue management and/or reservations management within hospitality, luxury accommodation, or wine estate environments
- Strong understanding of revenue management principles and distribution channels
- Proficiency in PMS, channel managers, and booking platforms
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (Matric certificate preferred)
