On-site accommodation is provided. Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience Location: Franschhoek Job Type: Full time Key Requirements: Relevant education or language qualification A BEd degree would strengthen the application Experience as a teacher, facilitator, or within a student residence environment At least three years leadership experience Experience working with children or teenagers through teaching, mentoring, or youth leadership Experience coaching life skills such as communication, conflict resolution, or similar competencies advantageous Valid first aid training Confident in handling emergencies, conflict, or challenging behaviour, with the ability to respond calmly and fairly Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English Ability to communicate effectively with learners, parents, and staff Ability to lead and supervise groups of students Respect for and understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds An engaging and uplifting personality Willingness to adapt to flexible working hours and responsibilities Only affirmative action candidates will be considered Key Responsibilities: Leading and managing student residence operations Facilitating educational and life skills programmes for youth Supervising and mentoring learners within the residence Handling emergencies and conflict situations professionally Collaborating with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to support learners development Maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment Assisting in the establishment and ongoing development of an exceptional educational institution If you meet the criteria and are interested in this opportunity, please send your CV to apply for the role.
