About the Role
We are seeking a warm and attentive Waiter to join our team at a Luxury Wellness Retreat & Hotel in Franschhoek. We offer a unique opportunity to deliver a thoughtful and grounded dining experience, supporting both day and evening services with energy, care and curiosity.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and broader front-of-house team to ensure smooth, connected service
- Confidently describe dishes and ingredients, sharing the story behind the food with guests
- Adapt to both day and night shifts, maintaining consistency and calm in a dynamic environment
- Support team members across roles, including hosts, with a spirit of collaboration
Requirements
- Grade 12
- A formal hospitality qualification (an advantage)
- At least 2+ years experience in a high-end hotel / restaurant environment
- Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system
- Basic math skills
- Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and active listener
- Attentive and patient for customers
- Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
Qualifications
- Formal hospitality qualification (if applicable)
