About the Role
As a Technical Advisor Agent, you will provide technical advisory support to branches, dealerships, and clients, while also developing and strengthening professional relationships with these stakeholders. This role requires flexibility, as travel may be required within South Africa’s borders and at short notice for cross-border trips. You will attend and actively participate in technical meetings, conduct detailed technical analysis of failures, and compile reports with clear recommendations and practical solutions to reduce repeat failures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical advisory support to branches, dealerships, and clients
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen professional relationships with these stakeholders
- Attend and actively participate in technical meetings
- Conduct detailed technical analysis of failures
- Compile technical reports with clear recommendations and practical solutions
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external audit requirements
- Maintain, monitor, and improve maintenance operating processes and procedures within the dealer network
- Conduct internal audits and provide guidance, assistance, and corrective solutions where gaps are identified
- Liaise with the Groups Technical Supervisor and National Aftersales Manager on all relevant technical matters
- Visit customers when required to address technical issues or provide support
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified technical issues
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Diesel Trade Test Certificate
- Technical background in the motor industry (advantageous)
- Valid Code 14 drivers licence
