Kuruman: Crew

About the Role

The Crew Member position at our Kuruman branch involves collecting and delivering client consignments, loading trucks for clients, and verifying equipment while completing paperwork using electronic scanning devices. The successful candidate will ensure accurate delivery of consignments, maintain security, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify all necessary equipment before each shift
• Complete paperwork using electronic scanning devices
• Ensure consignments are accurately received from the Vault, correctly segregated, and securely stowed onboard
• Adhere to all relevant procedures for delivery of valuables to customers
• Utilize security devices to guarantee safe transport of consignments at all times
• Conduct deliveries with professionalism, reflecting the values of IZI
• Accurately complete scanning and documentation for record-keeping and audit purposes
• Maintain safety and security of customer assets as their responsible custodian
• Deliver deposit slips issued by the bank promptly to customers
• Complete handover documentation accurately using electronic devices
• Deliver consignments according to planned schedules, consistently meeting service level agreements
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the crew compartment and Vault at all times
• Remain vigilant and report any suspicious vehicles or activities to the Control Room
• Identify optimal tactical positions for cover and safe exit from the vehicle
• Conduct ongoing surveillance en route to detect potential threats

Requirements

• Minimum one year experience in Cash In Transit operations
• PSIRA Grade C Certification
• Cash In Transit Certification
• SAPS Firearm Competency for Handgun Certificate
• Statement of Results report from Professional Firearms Trainers Council (PFTC) or Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) for Firearm with Business purposes
