Salary: R25,000 per month

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Wine & Dining Lead to oversee the wine and dining experience at a luxury guest farm in Franschhoek. This is an exciting role for someone who thrives in farm-to-table hospitality, with a deep understanding of ingredients, culinary intent, and wine pairings. You will guide the service team to deliver memorable, thoughtful, and seamless guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the front-of-house team with confidence, warmth, and precision during evening service.
  

• Communicate the story and intention behind each dish and wine pairing, connecting guests with the farm-to-table ethos.
  

• Mentor and support service staff, ensuring professional, engaging, and polished dining experiences.
  

• Collaborate closely with chefs and the food & beverage team to elevate the wine and beverage programme.
  

• Take primary responsibility for night shifts during peak season, balancing hands-on service with strategic leadership.
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, and 5-star properties.
  

• A formal wine qualification (WSET or equivalent).
  

• Deep knowledge of wines, culinary ingredients, and pairing principles.
  

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
  

• Professional, attentive, and guest-focused with excellent communication skills.
  

• Flexibility and adaptability to work evening shifts and peak-season schedules.
