About the Role

An excellent opportunity exists for a Chartered Accountant to join a well-established and growing accounting practice in Gauteng, South Africa. This role is ideal for a newly qualified CA or a candidate awaiting final board results who is looking to gain broad exposure, manage their own client portfolio, and develop into a senior leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage a diverse portfolio of accounting clients across various industries
Plan and manage accounting, tax, and statutory deadlines
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships
Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior accountants and SAIPA trainees
Ensure all work meets professional standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality controls
Support the ongoing development and performance of team members

Requirements

Chartered Accountant CA(SA), newly qualified or awaiting registration
One to three years post-articles experience
Experience in both audit and accounting environments
Completed undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Accounting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Postgraduate qualification in Accounting (advantageous but not required)

Salary & Benefits
