Airfreight Export Controller (3-Month Contract)
Contract: Limited duration – 3 months

About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Airfreight Export Controller to step in on a limited-duration contract and keep export operations running smoothly during a busy period. You’ll manage end-to-end air export files, coordinate across carriers and stakeholders, and ensure compliant, on-time shipments at competitive rates. Multimodal experience and strong export rate handling will be a plus.
Requirements

• 1+ years in airfreight export operations within a freight forwarder or carrier handling office.
• Solid knowledge of export documentation, Incoterms, and customs/export controls.
• Confident with rate building/negotiation and airline scheduling.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills; calm under time pressure.
• Good systems proficiency; familiarity with leading freight platforms (e.g., CargoWise) is advantageous.
• Dangerous Goods awareness/certification is an advantage.
