About the Role
As a Barista at Tsebo Catering Solutions, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and specialty beverages while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with our café team to uphold service standards, product quality, and hygiene requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks to consistently high standards
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Manage stock levels for coffee beans, milk, consumables, and supplies
- Assist in opening and closing procedures as required
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Customer-service experience (hospitality experience is an advantage)
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks
Qualifications
