Job Summary
1. New Business Development & Expansion
Identify and acquire new clients across diverse sectors to drive business growth.
Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to expand market share and penetrate
untapped business segments.
Proactively seek out and close high-value deals by understanding client needs and
positioning tailored solutions.
2. Sales Leadership & Strategic Growth
Lead the strategic sales function by driving long-term revenue growth, ensuring
sustainable profitability over multiple years.
Establish a strong pipeline of high-quality leads, ensuring continuous progression and
deal closure.
Ensuring the achievement of revenue targets and overall business growth.
3. Market Intelligence & Industry Insights
Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and trend forecasting to identify
emerging opportunities.
Develop data-driven sales strategies based on industry trends and client demand.
Innovate and tailor solutions to meet evolving client needs, collaborating with internal
teams on solution development.
4. Client Relationship Management & Retention
Establish and nurture high-value relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers,
and industry influencers.
Drive key account diversification, ensuring reduced concentration risk and enhanced
portfolio resilience.
Manage and optimize customer satisfaction, ensuring long-term partnerships and
repeat business.
5. Leadership & Business Development Maturity
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales professionals to enhance overall
business development effectiveness.
Champion a high-performance sales culture, ensuring alignment with business
objectives.
Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events, networking
forums, and strategic engagements.

Digital fluency, including the ability to leverage social media for marketing and
networking.
Professional Experience & Qualification Requirements:
Education: , Bachelors degree in Business management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship
management, preferably in banking, financial services, or learning & development
sectors.
Track Record: Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales targets through strategic
client engagement.
Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and
CRM tools.
focus of experience to Learning and Development sales – with the additional extra being banking experience. In the banking space we only want to look at candidates that have been in B2B sales with clear acquisition experience.
- They need to understand the sales cycle
- They must have actually done sales and had targets to achieve (not just lead creation)

- Ability to deal with C-Suite cliental
- A lot of the candidates sent/seen are from call centre environments/ no sales targets/ no B2B sales
