As a BI & Database Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping their data infrastructure and reporting systems, ensuring insights are secure, scalable, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain operational data stores and enterprise data warehouses.
• Automate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting processes.
• Create and maintain reporting cubes and dashboards using MySQL, MS SQL, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Manage database performance, backups, recovery, and security.
• Support ETL processes, data integration, and ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: Certification/Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Management. Relevant certifications (Databases, Microsoft, Python, etc.) will be an advantage.
• Experience: 3–5 years’ experience in BI and/or DBA roles. Retail industry experience preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in MySQL, MS SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Python for data analysis, and advanced Excel. Strong understanding of database structures, operating systems, and system utilities. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
