Job Description
The Dealer Network Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the performance of the dealer network to drive truck sales, aftersales service excellence, and brand growth. This role ensures that dealers meet sales targets, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and adhere to brand standards while expanding market coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Dealer Network Development & Management
- Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with the dealer network to ensure alignment with the brand’s vision, values, and sales objectives.
- Identify and appoint new dealers in strategic locations to grow market presence.
- Oversee dealer onboarding, training, and integration into the brand network.
- Monitor dealer facilities, resources, and capabilities to meet operational standards.
Sales & Performance Management
- Set and communicate dealer sales targets and business objectives.
- Monitor dealer sales performance, market share, and profitability.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support dealers in achieving targets.
- Implement dealer incentive and reward programs to drive performance.
Marketing & Brand Support
- Work with dealers to plan and execute local marketing campaigns and events.
- Ensure dealers maintain brand identity in showrooms, advertising, and customer interactions.
- Coordinate product launches, demonstrations, and customer engagement activities with dealers.
Aftersales & Service Excellence
- Collaborate with service and parts departments to ensure aftersales support meets customer expectations.
- Monitor warranty claims, parts availability, and service turnaround times across the dealer network.
- Support dealers in improving service quality and customer retention.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure dealers comply with legal, financial, and operational requirements.
- Conduct regular dealer audits on sales, service, and operational processes.
- Uphold ethical business practices across the network.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in dealer management, sales, or network development in the automotive or truck industry.
- Proven track record in achieving sales growth and managing dealer relationships.
- Strong understanding of truck product lines, fleet sales, and commercial vehicle markets.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence and motivate dealer teams to achieve high performance.
- Knowledge of dealer contracts, compliance standards, and operational best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
