Key
Responsibilities:
- Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and previous order history to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to manage inventory levels effectively and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Monitor and analyse international import data to align demand forecasts with supply schedules.
- Identify patterns and insights from large datasets to inform decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Regularly review and update demand planning models to account for changes in market dynamics or product lines.
- Utilize data-driven methods to propose actionable strategies for enhancing profitability and operational efficiency.
Key
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in demand planning and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in demand forecasting tools and software.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to link demand planning to broader business objectives.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
