A dynamic manufacturing company is looking for a Dispatch Manager with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of handling and transporting fragile materials such as glass and long aluminum profiles. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and dispatch workflows, excellent planning and routing abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple deliveries while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and manage a dispatch team and drivers Delegate tasks efficiently and monitor team performance Coordinate deliveries to ensure the correct products, quantities, and specifications reach clients on time Prioritise urgent orders and align dispatch schedules with production timelines Communicate clearly with drivers, production teams, customers, and management Resolve customer complaints or delivery issues professionally and promptly Identify delays, damages, or loading problems and implement effective solutions Maintain delivery deadlines and manage team schedules Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for tracking and reporting Experience with logistics or warehouse management systems is advantageous Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Strong decision-making, planning, and problem-solving skills under pressure Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or the glass/aluminum manufacturing industry is highly desirable Benefits Salary: negotiable.
