Job Summary
Our client, a leader in payment and transaction technologies, is seeking a highly skilled and driven Divisional CFO to oversee the financial strategy and operations for one of their key subsidiaries. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced financial professional looking to take on a strategic leadership role in a rapidly evolving industry.
As Divisional CFO, you will play a critical role in steering the financial direction of the division, ensuring operational excellence, and contributing to the company’s broader business objectives. The role offers the chance to lead a talented finance team and work closely with senior leadership to shape the company’s future growth.

Duties:
- Lead the finance team and oversee all financial operations within the division.
- Set and implement the division’s strategic financial goals, targets, and plans.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, working capital, and foreign exchange transactions, including Forward Exchange Contracts (FEC).
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory financial obligations while maintaining strong internal controls.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including shareholders, auditors, bankers, and regulators.
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, from year-end financials and audits to budgets and risk assessments.
- Ensure tax compliance across various functions, including VAT, PAYE, ETI, and company tax.
- Provide financial leadership and advice to the Board and CEO.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom Finance
- BCom Honours
- CA(SA) or CIMA
Experience:
- Completed SAICA Articles
- 5 – 8 years of experience in financial management with strong knowledge of financial tools and software, including Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of BBBEE codes, tax management and company restructuring.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, meeting deadlines, and thriving under pressure.
- Familiarity with Foreign Exchange Contracts (FEC) is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or output-based industries is a plus.
