About the Role
A Mining house based in East Asia is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager with Gold Mining experience to manage the day-to-day operations of their laboratory, ensuring accurate and reliable analytical results that support production, quality control, and metallurgical optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage laboratory operations to ensure accurate and timely analytical results
- Oversee sample management, analytical workflows, quality control systems, and laboratory personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards
- Develop and implement laboratory procedures to optimize production and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or B-Tech in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineering
- At least 10 years of laboratory experience at a managerial/supervisory level
- Previous Gold Mining experience is highly preferred
- Expat experience is an added advantage
Qualifications
- Completed relevant undergraduate degree (no specific qualification mentioned)
