Company and Job Description:
A well-established manufacturing company based in the East Rand is looking for a seasoned Finance Manager to take full ownership of the financial function. This role requires someone confident in their ability to oversee reporting, compliance, cost controls, and budgeting while also working closely with operational teams. You`ll join the management team and play a critical role in strategic planning, cash flow optimisation, and driving financial sustainability across the business.
 
Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly and annual financial reporting in line with IFRS standards
• Ensure tax and regulatory compliance (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, etc.)
• Lead external audit processes and maintain audit readiness
• Drive cost control, margin management, and stock accuracy
• Analyze product costing and support pricing strategies
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
• Oversee credit control and debtor management
• Lead and mentor a small finance team
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure financial governance
• Manage and optimize ERP system usage (Sage, Syspro, SAP, etc.)
• Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and

Requirements:

• CA(SA) accreditation is esse
• 5-8 years post article experience in manufacturing is essential
• Proven managerial experience
• ERP and IFRS experience is essential
