Duties:

• Lead and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting processes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom or BCom Honours in Accounting or equivalent.
• Professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA) preferred.
• Knowledge of IFRS and tax legislation.

 
Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience in managing teams and leading process improvements.

 
Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.850
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Sage, Oracle).
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver to strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
