About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of financial activities — from statutory accounting and compliance to financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. This position offers exposure to both operational and strategic finance, making it ideal for an ambitious individual who enjoys combining technical accounting with business analysis

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review management and financial reports to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Compile annual financial statements in line with accounting standards
• Conduct financial and performance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes to guide business decisions
• Prepare and monitor cash flow reports and assist in working capital management
• Ensure tax compliance, maintain internal controls, and oversee fixed asset accounting
• Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure sound financial governance

Qualifications & Experience

• CA(SA) essential / Could consider applicants writing APC in December 2025
• Minimum 3 years’ post article relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within manufacturing, steel, or industrial sectors.
• SAP experience essential
