A leading manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller (plant based) with strong financial acumen and international exposure to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to drive financial performance at a plant level, working closely with operations and senior management.  This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of plant financial management in a dynamic manufacturing environment, with exposure to international business practices and strategic decision-making.

Duties:

• Oversee all financial operations for the plant, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and statutory requirements.
• Manage cost accounting processes, including plant/factory costing and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Lead financial audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and policies.
• Mentor and develop finance team members within the plant.

Education and experience:

• CA(SA)
• 10 years post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in factory/plant costing and financial management.
• Experience within international operations is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
