About the Role
We are seeking a technically strong finance professional to join our client’s team as a Financial Manager in Gauteng. As a key member of the financial leadership team, you will play a critical role in influencing financial performance and business strategy. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving financial excellence and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full financial accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Review monthly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS requirements
- Oversee budgeting processes and capital forecasting
- Manage cash flow and daily cash management activities
- Prepare and review month-end reconciliations and trial balance support files
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements
- Manage quarterly and annual regulatory returns
- Provide financial insights through data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making
- Lead and manage a team while driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee the external audit process and ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and controls
Requirements

- BCom Accounting
- BCom Honours
- CA(SA) qualification is essential
