About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of South African Instrumentation Technicians to work in Amersfoort, Netherlands. The successful candidates will service and maintain electrical work such as cabling, PLC fault finding, electrical motors, replacing sensors etc., besides that they will work on the mechanical side where they are working on conveyor belts, bearings, motors etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure and keep the installation and machines in good condition
  • Carry out inspections, perform preventive maintenance and are involved in optimizations
  • Carry out corrective maintenance and resolve malfunctions on complex machines and installations
  • Provide improvement proposals and implement them together with your team
  • Experience in PLC fault finding and basic programming
  • Experience in industrial automation is an advantage
  • You have good communication skills
  • You can quickly switch between different projects and activities
  • In your work you are independent and stress resistant

Requirements

  • Matric / N4
  • Instrumentation Technician Trade Test Read Seal / Section 13
  • Or Instrumentation Technician N6
  • South African drivers license
  • Completed 3 year apprenticeship
  • Fluent in Afrikaans
  • 1 3 years work experience post trade test advantageous
  • National Diploma or any N1 – N6 advantageous
  • Willing to work in the Netherlands for one year and longer
