Duties:
- Investigations: Conduct detailed investigations into potential fraud, irregularities, and violations, delivering comprehensive and factual evidence for internal and external proceedings.
- Fraud Detection & Monitoring: Detect and respond to fraudulent incidents, working proactively with key stakeholders to strengthen fraud monitoring systems and identify red flags.
- Fraud Prevention Strategies: Design and lead fraud awareness training across the business, developing preventative strategies that minimize risks and ensure organizational resilience.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build trusted relationships with senior management and functional leaders, keeping them informed of investigative developments and remediation strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize data analytics and predictive models to provide insights into emerging fraud risks and develop cutting-edge solutions to reduce future fraud incidents.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, Business, or Law.
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification is essential.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of forensic investigation experience, with expertise in corporate fraud, white-collar crime, and evidence handling.
- Expertise in fraud risk management, forensic data analytics, and applying advanced analytical techniques.
- Strong knowledge of laws relevant to forensic investigations.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, advanced Excel), with a deep understanding of risk practices and regulatory frameworks.
