Job Summary
Responsible for diagnosing and repairing any issues related to hydraulic systems. Inspecting, maintaining and troubleshoot components such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators and filters.Hydraulic Technician
Duties:
Inspect, maintain and repair hydraulic systems and componentsDiagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic systemsInstall new hydraulic systems and componentsPerform tests on hydraulic components and systemsConduct routine maintenance and servicing of hydraulic systemsTroubleshoot and diagnose faults in hydraulic systemsKeep up to date with advances in hydraulic engineeringDocument work carried out and maintain recordsHydraulic Technician
Requirements:
Able to carry out maintenance and repair on hydraulic systemsExperience in using hand and power toolsExperience in diagnosing faults and repairing hydraulic systemsAbility to read and interpret hydraulic diagramsAbility to work as part of a teamHydraulic Technician Skills:Matric/ Grade 12 certificateMin 2–3 years working experienceKnowledge of hydraulic systemsAbility to read and interpret hydraulic diagramsStrong practical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a team
