Our client, a prominent listed organisation, is seeking a Hyperion Manager to take ownership of group consolidations and reporting. This role is ideal for a technically strong finance professional who excels in large, complex environments and enjoys working at group level rather than within smaller companies. This is a critical role within the finance function, where your Hyperion expertise and reporting strength will directly support executive decision-making and stakeholder confidence.

? Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the group consolidation process using Hyperion
• Prepare and review group financial reports in line with IFRS and listed-company requirements
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Maintain and enhance consolidation and reporting processes within Hyperion
• Partner with senior finance stakeholders across the group to resolve consolidation and reporting matters
• Support audit processes with robust documentation and technical insight

• CA(SA) qualification
• ±5 years’ post-articles experience
• Strong, hands-on Hyperion experience (non-negotiable)
• Proven exposure to group consolidations and reporting
• Experience within large, listed organisations (preference)
• Ability to thrive in structured, complex corporate environments

We are seeking a Hyperion and Consolidations Manager to support, maintain, and develop our financial consolidation systems while ensuring accurate and IFRS-compliant reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end Hyperion system administration, including maintenance, development, and reporting updates.
• Provide Hyperion training and support to the finance community.
• Manage and support consolidation specialists and ensure smooth HFM application processes (user management, patching, exchange rates, security, rebuild processes).
• Assist in reviewing group consolidation and financial statements, applying IFRS 18 and JSE listing requirements.
• Perform business analysis across multiple business units to structure accurate income statements and support senior management requests.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Qualified CA(SA)
• Minimum 5 years post-articles experience in financial consolidation systems, preferably in a listed environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of IFRS and JSE Listing requirements.
• Deep understanding of consolidations and IT consolidation systems (Hyperion advantageous).
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex, long-term IT projects.
