Job Description
- Must have a National Senior Certificate; A tertiary qualification in the relevant field will be advantageous
- Minimum 3–5 years’ demonstrable experience in sales within technical services, manufacturing, engineering, environmental services, or water treatment
- Prior experience in water treatment and water treatment equipment is advantageous
- Must have strong customer service focus and proven ability to meet targets
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Good organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Must have a solid understanding of the sales process and dynamics
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Serving as the face to internal and external partners.
- Responding to client queries, both operational and technical, quickly and professionally.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients to expand product range and sales opportunities.
- Preparing quotations, processing orders, and managing invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Achieving sales quotas and goals while supporting performance decisions with data.
- Presenting, promoting, and selling products/services using strong product knowledge and arguments.
- Maintaining detailed sales records and providing reports on customer needs, market activity, and potential new products/services.
- Reaching out to prospective clients through cold calling and other lead-generation activities.
