Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping and transactional processing
Capturing invoices, bank transactions, and journals
Performing basic bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations
Supporting VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions
Helping prepare monthly management accounts
Maintaining client and statutory records
Working on cloud accounting platforms (primarily Xero)
Assisting senior accountants with client work and deadlines

Minimum Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting (completed or in progress)
0–2 years accounting experience (graduates welcome)
Basic exposure to Xero or other cloud accounting systems advantageous
Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
Good communication and organisational skills
Willingness to learn and take direction
