Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Assist senior surveyors with field survey, topographic mapping, and cadastral boundary verifications.Operate and maintain modern survey equipment, including GNSS receivers, total stations, and digital levels.Collect and process spatial data for municipal infrastructure mapping and asset registers. Conduct site verifications and prepare basic survey drawings and reports under supervision. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and safety during all field operations. Collaborate with engineers, valuers, and municipal officials as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Minimum
Requirements:
National Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field Familiarity with CAD/GIS software and basic survey data processing tools. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to remote and urban municipalities. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn. Bonus points for: Experience with Trimble, Leica, or Topcon systems. Exposure to municipal asset management or infrastructure projects.
